Electronic Systems Engineer Transmission Sensors Power Electronics Inverter (m/f/d)



Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Interface with an European customer to evaluate and specify the transmission sensor interfaces
  • Analyze Stakeholder Requirements (Customer and Internal)
  • Decompose Stakeholder requirements into architectural blocks, I/O interfaces and system requirements/design that are assigned to discipline (SW, HW …)
  • Develop the System design by Enterprise Architect and Matlab/Simulink Autocoding
  • Work with software team to integrate the functions
  • Perform change management with the customer and internally
  • Generate product functional test plan (compliance testing)
  • Perform product functional testing on test bench and car
  • Support customer test and validation programs and handle potential issue reports
  • Use Polarion and JIRA tool for documentation, tracking, reporting and planning
  • While the current project need is the implementation and support of transmission sensors interface, we also expect flexibility and willingness to continuously learn, develop and support in future other system functions of our power electronics systems

Job Requirements and Experience

Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)

  • University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Bac +5 / Masters
  • Big picture thinker with an eye for details
  • Previous Experience on Transmission controllers and park lock systems and their different sensor actuator interfaces is an asset
  • Experience with functional safety and ISO26262 is an asset
  • Understanding of vehicle electronic requirements and power electronics systems requirements
  • Experience in real-time embedded system design and embedded microcontrollers
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Previous experience in automotive powertrain/power electronics and in Matlab/Simulink autocoding are a benefit
  • Good foundation knowledge of both hardware and software
  • Fluency in English is required, German/French would be an advantage
