Job Description

• As a Production Support Engineer in the Smart Factory Service Team, you will provide following technical support to customers:
• Deliver technical solutions to enhance usability, efficiency, quality and automation of Advantest Test Cells installed at customer production floor
• Integrate and maintain solutions into customer factory environment
• Accountable for escalation management relating to solutions deployed
• Gather and evaluate customer feedback to improve their operation efficiencies
• Provide consultancy in defining customer’s requirements to work with solution architect
• Debug production Test Programs, Device Interface and solve application, setup and/or software related problems
• Support system correlation and ramp-up of new customer products

Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with ATE environment will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of coding languages (C++, Python, Perl, Java, JavaScript), databases (like MySQL) & Networking
• Good communication and presentation skills for internal as well as for customer facing activities
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lead projects / project management skills
• A regional role with international travel expected
