Your Role

  • Development and design of mechanical components for cutting edge robotic systems (e.g drive trains, castings)
  • Participate in development on all stages, ranging from project planning and 3D design all the way to stress analysis
  • Analysis for operational stability and mechanical load limits (e.g. by means of FEM)
  • Assemble and commission mechatronic prototypes
  • Evaluate the design by measurements and extensive testing in a professional lab
  • Creating technical reports and documents
  • Learn and excel hardware development on a unique technology stack enabling safe human robot interaction

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • University degree in mechanic engineering or similar (Bachelor/Master/Diploma)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in design and drafting of mechanical functions and components
  • Solid Knowledge in 3D CAD software (best SolidWorks)
  • Practice in dimensioning, tolerancing and FEA analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and technical know-how, in at least one of the fields of
    • casted parts
    • FEM-Analysis
    • drive trains
  • Experience in robotic industries is a benefit
  • High personal standard of performance and drive for result
  • Passion for developing innovative solutions as part of an interdisciplinary, cross-functional team
  • Independent method of working while the required deliverables are structured and well defined
  • Strong communication skills in English, German is optional
