Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will develop and adapt existing complex power electronic products in an interdisciplinary team. The products you are dealing with are inverter and converter for sub-networks and motor drive systems. • Evolve concepts and specifications for corresponding hardware architecture of electrical components and modules • Working on the whole life cycle of the products like requirement engineering, technical specifications, design and development activities, requirement verification internally and with the customer • Provide product documentation • Conduct commissioning and support the fulfilment of required quality for the products • Consult the customer for their best technical solution and provide trainings for product users • Adapt existing products based on customer requirements

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or similar
• You have very good expertise in development of power electronics applications
• You gained already experience in developing concepts, designing and choosing components and doing documentation for complex power electronics products
• You are able to communicate fluently in English with your team members, German language skills are a plus customers and sub-suppliers and you are acting as team player; communicative, proactive attitude
• You have experience in programming embedded systems in C/C++ and PLC programming, designing printed circuit boards in Altium Designer or designing control algorithms for power electronics topologies as well as simulation in MATLAB Simulink and/or LT Spice would be an advantage
• A proactive attitude, a systematic and result oriented method of operation complete your profile.
• Willingness to travel (ca. 20%).
