Solar Automotive System Test Engineer (f/m/d)

YOUR TASKS
As part of our Vehicle Solar Integration team that develops and markets a product for transportation applications, you will be responsible for the testing and validation of the overall system, including electric, electronic, software (CAN communication) & mechanical integration. We are a motivated small team dedicated to bringing solar products to the market. In this team your role includes:
- Clarification of the requirements and comparison with external standards
- Planning and implementation of verification process of complex systems in the automotive sector
- Creation and adaptation of test specifications
- Creation of test reports & reviews
- Logging of test results with data processing programs
- Specification and maintenance of internal test equipment and assets
- Periodic on-site test activities with testing labs or customers
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's, Master’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or similar discipline
- Formal experience as a testing engineer or regularly performing structured test activities, preferably in the automotive environment
- Professional experience in working on electronic components in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry
- Solid knowledge of verification, validation and testing procedures
- Well-founded technical knowledge or technical understanding of software and hardware systems and quick understanding of technical coherences
- Basic knowledge or interest of photovoltaic systems
- You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy working on the test bench or vehicles
- Living sustainable is important to you - in your private and professional life
- Fluent English is a must - fluent German a plus
