Software Developer / DevOps & Infrastructure Specialist (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

As a future product capabilities (website) team member, you are running within a Full-Stack team and will:

• Support and develop automation solutions which will enable our agile software team(s) to build and deploy code efficiently and consistently.
• Promote efficient and secure DevOps principles and culture.
• Enhance and maintain the CI/CD deployment chain and our cloud-based infrastructure.
• Take End-to-End responsibility for a software development life cycle.
• Support migrations from on-premiss to cloud, mainly focused on the AWS topics.
• Maintain and help to develop a robust, high quality & scalable customer experience platform.
• Elaborate solutions and build architectures in the AWS cloud.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Zeppelin’s Security Team, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Developers, and Product Managers to enable the delivery of cutting-edge digital products.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in computer science, information technology, related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Mandatory: Passion for programming & infrastructure, automations, architecting and willingness to learn and to try new things.
• Very good experience on Linux or Unix-based systems administration.
• Good experience hands on and running production loads in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with IAC (Infrastructure as Code) and common tooling (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
• Experience in the Infrastructure Level: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Docker-Compose, CircleCI, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Experience in CI/CD implementation and maintainance.
• Experience working with SCRUM in an agile environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Network Layers in the Cloud.
• Knowledge for containerization and related concepts in their orchestration (e.g., Docker, K8s/Kubernetes).
• Recommended Tech—Languages: Bash, Terraform, Ansible, Java (open for other languages would be awesome: JavaScript, python, PHP).

• Strong communication skills and very good knowledge of English—spoken and written. German is a plus.
  Ability to think outside the box.
