Position Description:
Your challenges as an Industrial Engineer (m/f/d):
- You will independently initiate and coordinate projects in the manufacturing environment, designing needs-based assembly and testing work processes for our digital printing systems, implementing them consistently and guided by the concepts of lean production.
- The focus is on the design of new concepts for the production of very small series comparable to the area of special machine construction with the inclusion of structured, modular product construction kits. For this purpose you will continuously coordinate with colleagues from other production sites (especially in the Netherlands).
- In the product development phase you evaluate design drafts from R&D, influence them with regard to assemblability and testability and are responsible for the transfer of individual parts, units and modules to production.
- You design work plans, work instructions, layouts and tools according to ergonomic, logistic and technical aspects and also supervise the assembly lines in work organization issues of the day-to-day business
- From the very beginning, you place a high value on the more effective use of the product lifecycle management system (Teamcenter) and the ERP system (SAP) within the product development process
- You are responsible for sustainable quality assurance as well as ensuring a high level of customer orientation
Who are we looking for?
- You have a successfully completed engineering degree, preferably in the field of mechanical engineering
- You have practical experience in the field of industrial engineering
- You have experience in production-related project management and are ideally familiar with modern lean production concepts
- Founded knowledge with the SAP modules MM and PP as well as with Teamcenter is also very welcome
- You are creative paired with good analytical and conceptual skills and like to think in overall contexts
- You have a confident appearance and are a team player with strong communication skills
- You are characterized by quality-oriented, proactive and goal-oriented work
- Your good English and German language skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile
