Your tasks & responsibilities:
- Be part of a team that will support the development of new generation of automated tire inspection systems, focusing on the redesigning/ development of current/ new technology
- Analyze, review, maintain, and improve current design based on road map requirements
- Work with internal and external customers to specify the system requirement
- Collaborate with suppliers and technology partners to develop custom products
- Manage whole certification and homologation activities, while ensuring the compliance to related standards and requirements
- Evaluate and select-off-the-shelf electronic components
- Work in a cross functional team including implementation, service, manufacturing, procurement and quality
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent, with experience in electronic hardware design and component specification, Master’s Degree is preferred
- Excellent skills in electronic hardware design/ development
- Experience with EPLAN, Autodesk Fusion 360 or equivalent software
- Experience with coding skills in C/ C++
- Familiarity with certification and homologation processes
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite
- Self-motivated, self-driven, innovative and creative thinker
- Inquisitive mind and ability to master in new subjects
- Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English #LI-S
