Electrical Engineer Medium / High Voltage (m/f/d)

ABO Wind has been successfully developing and implementing renewable energy projects since 1996. Every year, we build plants with an average investment volume of 500 million euros. More than 900 employees worldwide work with enthusiasm on the project development, financing, construction, operational management and maintenance of wind and solar farms, battery, and hydrogen projects.

Your passion

• will be responsible for the concept design of switchgears and power distribution systems for wind, solar and battery storage facilities
• will prepare specifications for electrical equipment
• will check the detailed design of electronic contractors
• will attend factory and site acceptance tests
• are part of a project team integrating project managers, site managers and SCADA engineers during the construction phase
• will prepare work instructions
• are part of a team of experienced primary engineers committed to standardise workflows and train younger staff.

Your qualification

• have an university degree in electrical engineering
• have proven experience in the specification and/or commissioning of high- and medium-voltage switchgears.
• Can communicate effectively in German and English
• have experience in the preparation of technical specifications and contract drawings for EPC projects
• enjoy teamworking
• are willing to travel occasionally at home and abroad.
