Job Description

Job Summary:

• Under the direction of the Site Quality Manager, the job holder is responsible for controlling the quality management processes at the Walsrode (Bomlitz) site. The aim is to comply with all product quality requirements, including for pharmaceutical excipients, food additives and automotive.

Main tasks / most important responsibilities:

• Supporting the implementation of quality strategies to achieve quality goals and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in accordance with ISO 9001, EXCiPACT GMP, FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher and IATF16949.
• Analysis of the work process at the location
• Identification of improvement potentials in the quality area and their implementation in cooperation with local and global contacts
• Creation and review of relevant procedural and work instructions for quality management at the site
• Conducting employee training on quality requirements and processes
• Focal point for IT quality management tools, e.g. document management, CAPA, MOC, complaints tool
• Monitoring and reporting of quality metrics
• Creation and monitoring of the internal audit program at the site Walsrode (Bomlitz)
• Conducting internal audits to verify internal, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Conducting audits of local service providers at the site
• Support for quality management audits and the implementation of improvement measures
• Management of the locals Service providers and raw material suppliers. This includes qualification, complaints processing and monitoring in cooperation with local and global contacts.
• Monitoring of the glass cadastre, pest control and water analysis, as well as the implementation of corrective measures
• Supporting change processes and projects by assessing the impact on quality aspects
• Contact person for the consideration of quality aspects when planning maintenance work and checking the implementation

Job Requirements

To know, experience, specialist knowledge:
Education:

• Completed scientific studies, bachelor's or master's degree (e.g. chemistry, business chemistry, chemical engineering)
• laboratory technician or chemist

Subject-specific knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of relevant standards in quality management, in automotive, pharmaceutical excipients or food additives
• Experience working with different departments
• Fluent knowledge of German
• Good English knowledge

Experience

• Several years of experience in quality control, assurance or quality management
• Professional experience in a production facility in the food/pharmaceutical or automotive sectors is desirable
• Experience in managing employees desirable
