Job Description

As Junior Integration Engineer (m/f/d) you are part of Roland Berger’s powerful and global IT team. Together with highly motivated colleagues you can contribute significantly to the digitalization of our company by developing ideas and delivering solutions for a secure, reliable, and leading-edge IT.

With the help of your integration expertise, you integrate applications and data to enable reliable and time-saving processes and high data quality to support right decisions.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Create and manage integrations of cloud-based data sources and applications
• Migrate on-prem existing SSIS integrations into the Microsoft Azure cloud using state-of-the-art technologies and learn how to analyze complex issues as well as provide sustainable solutions
• Collect, transform, and store data from different applications for reporting using ETL services
• Monitor quality and stability of existing interfaces and integration processes
• Create a testing environment and continuously optimize our services, tools and processes
• Closely collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders in an agile environment

Qualifications

• Master, Bachelor, or outstanding apprenticeship in a relevant subject, preferably in the field of computer science, business informatics, automation technology or equivalent
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps or comparable platforms and first experience in build, control, integration, automation and/or orchestration tools
• Enthusiastic about integration technologies, advanced skills in SSIS, database and SQL and preferably Microsoft Azure experience
• Basic conceptual and architectural skills and a high quality awareness for clean software architecture and code
• Effective communication skills in English, good German skills are a plus
