As part of our automotive field application team in Munich, you’ll get it all first-hand at top tier automotive suppliers. Whether it’s presenting our leading capabilities, creating system solutions with customers, preparing workshops, holding trainings or running debug-sessions – you will have the opportunity to drive significant business opportunities from the concept stage through production ramp at the OEM.

Your responsibilities:
- Responsibility for developing and executing strategies to maximize NXP sales and profit at a major Automotive Account in the strategic growth area of Electrification
- Identify new customer projects, propose technical solutions utilizing NXP products and services, manage negotiations towards WIN/WIN outcomes, and maintain support throughout the product development cycle
- Develop appropriate product proposals for the entire system and co-ordinate an optimum support; this involves close cooperation and communication with NXP’s sales and field application engineering teams as well as intensive communication with the responsible NXP business lines
- Drive new product definition together with the customer and the respective NXP Business Lines to secure NXP’s long term success in this key market segment
- Monitor project execution with key milestones with the customer during all phases of the development
- Understand the customer‘s business strategy, opportunities and issues, short term and long term
- Understand formal & informal hierarchy, decision makers, collecting insights at customer
- Establish and develop strategic relationship within the account at all management levels
- Effective delegation and coordination of logistic/quality issues to the relevant people within NXP
Your profile:
- Electrical engineering degree or similar
- Knowledge about Electronic / Semiconductor products in the Automotive environment and their usage in the automotive application fields is mandatory
- Around 2 to 5 years’ experience in semiconductor Marketing or Sales
- Market knowledge in the area of Electrification would be an advantage
- Customer and business focus; flexibility, motivation, and networking ability are requested for this position at all management levels
- Ability to explain complex technical contents in a convincing fashion appropriate to the level of the business partner
- Analytical skills to extract key customer requirements and to identify appropriate solutions
- A high degree of flexibility, motivation, customer focus, business orientation and networking ability are required for this position
- You have a proven track record of success in a challenging business environment
- Very strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in both German and English
- Willing to travel (mainly Germany, but including EMEA and WW)
