This activity is being driven by a focused team of experienced engineers and subject-matter experts who are involved in a wide range of activities, including a portfolio of three demonstrator projects, participating in industry groups, commissioning consultancy studies and undertaking supply chain engagement.

A significant amount of information and learning is being generated through these activities and it is essential that it is captured and shared with all of the relevant technical teams. A Floating Knowledge Coordinator is needed to support a Floating Knowledge Manager (and the wider team) by proactively gathering, organising and synthesising information into a range of formats, including reports, databases and presentations. They are also needed to coordinate a number of internal working groups and to support the team’s internal communication with the rest of the business.

Your profile:

  • The ability to engage with specialist engineers to understand and interpret multi-disciplinary technical issues
  • A self-managing and structured approach to working, with the ability to organise, synthesis and interpret a wide range of materials efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent analytical skills and sound numerical ability to understand and interrogate quantitative data
  • Well organised with good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Team player, who is quick to learn and adapt as new circumstances require
  • Degree qualified. A Masters would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to work with a wide range of people, including senior management

Why you should apply

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team working on an important emerging sub-sector of offshore wind. The role will involve working with world-leading technical experts to identify new insights and overcome barriers as RWE looks to build a global portfolio of projects.
