Engineering Application Administrator (m/f/d) - PLM/ALM

Job Description

As Engineering Application Administrator (m/f/d) you are working in the field of IT service. Mainly you are responsible for maintaining system infrastructure and providing service for applications and process digitalization.

• Install, update, and administrate PLM-Systems (ARAS and Teamcenter) and Rational IBM applications (DOORS NG, RTC and RQM).
• Support for ReqMan and maintain the system as well as import of customer specifications.
• Support users for local, regional, and global Engineering IT systems and maintenance of user accounts in various systems.
• Installation and maintenance of global DENSO systems.
• Preparation and roll-out of Engineering IT applications upgrades.
• Monitoring of Engineering IT applications and system performance, implementing improvements as well as software and hardware evaluation and testing.
• Lead small site-specific projects.
• Complete project cycle documentation according to internal requirements.
• Continuous improvement of the systems and infrastructure and support the development and implementation strategies for the Engineering IT
• Identify future trends and generate ideas to make use of it.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical engineering, computer science, software engineering or similar disciplines.
• Experience to administrate, manage and customize PLM systems. Ideal ARAS or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Experience to administrate, manage and customize IBM Rational Applications like DOORS NG, RTC and RQM.
• Experience with ReqMan.
• Preferred is a combination of technical knowledge about the systems, operating the system and the underlying databases.
• Experience with programming languages is an advantage.
• Very good level of English and good level of German (written and spoken).
• Good PC knowledge (Office).
