What are your tasks?

• Modeling of individual parts and assemblies with the CAD system Creo in the field of electrical connectors (cable lugs, crimping dies, etc.)
• Dimensioning of components with the help of FEA calculations
• Creation of standard-compliant 2D drawings of individual parts (blank and finished part drawings) with appropriate dimensional, form and positional tolerances
• Setup and maintenance of individual parts, assemblies and parts lists in the ERP system (SAP)
• CAD modeling and creation of manufacturing documents of e.g. metal castings and formed parts
• Selection of suitable materials and manufacturing processes for series production
• Preparation of electrical / mechanical test specifications based on the current standards, as well as validation of the results
• Optimization of components with regard to function, economy and sustainability

What do we want from you?

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical / electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Knowledge of 3D CAD (Creo or comparable)
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, especially of standards of connection technology advantageous
• Relevant professional experience is an advantage
• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
