Junior Site Manager (m/f/d) Solar Projects

ABO Wind has been successfully developing and implementing renewable energy projects since 1996. Every year, we build plants with an average investment volume of 500 million euros. More than 900 employees worldwide work with enthusiasm on the project development, financing, construction, operational management and maintenance of wind and solar farms, battery, and hydrogen projects.

Responsibilities

You will work with and under the supervision of an experienced site manager, thereby learning to take on diverse tasks in site management such as:

• Coordinate, supervise, report and document administration of construction works
• Control of material deliveries, quality, quantities, acceptance, handover to subcontractors
• Supervise, manage and coordinate subcontractors, authorities, and engineers on site
• Monitor and control of deadlines, costs, quality aspects of the construction work
• Identify construction risks and develop method statements as well as other HSE functions
• Site based quality compliance, acceptance tests and punch listing of subcontractor work
• Subcontractors’ variation, change and claim management
• Review design drawings and creating “Mark-ups” and “As-builts

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, ideally in electrical engineering, alternatively vocational training with further education in engineering
• A hands-on approach and autonomous work are second nature, and you are willing to learn from experienced colleagues
• Fluent in German and English, additional languages would be considered an advantage
• Negotiation skills, confident demeanour, independent and systematic way of working
• You are willing to undertake long business trips in Germany and possibly abroad, and enjoy working on construction sites
