Responsibilities:
- Conduct EMC tests and measurements on electronic devices in accordance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and execute test plans to evaluate the performance of electronic devices under different electromagnetic environments.
- Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design improvements to achieve EMC compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EMC requirements into the product design phase.
- Work with other engineers to develop test hardware and setups for EMC testing.
- Conduct pre-compliance testing to identify and address potential EMC issues early in the product development cycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EMC issues found during testing or by customers in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest EMC standards, regulations, and techniques through continuous learning and professional development.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on EMC-related topics to internal teams and customers.
- Participate in the development and implementation of EMC improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of EMC principles, standards, regulations, and testing procedures.
- Experience in conducting a variety of EMC tests, such as radiated and conducted emissions, susceptibility, and immunity tests.
- Proficiency in using EMC test equipment, measurement tools, and software.
- Familiarity with common EMC standards and regulations, such as IEC 61000 series, CISPR, FCC, and CE.
- Experience with EMC simulations and modeling tools is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting EMC issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of semiconductor devices and their interaction with electromagnetic fields.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information effectively.
- Fluent English, detail-oriented and capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Prior experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
