To strength our team, we are seeking an Application Engineer at our new location in Ettenheim (D-77955), Germany. You will focus on solving customers’ challenges and doing our part to ensure a sustainable/greener tomorrow.

Job Functions

As an Application Engineer, you will be focused on developing innovative reference designs, testing the latest products of MPS, and generating collateral such as datasheets/application notes/ISO26262 documentation, as well as providing application customer support. This is a fantastic opportunity where your success is only limited by your creativity. Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Provide onsite support for key customers' design and testing.
• Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to enhance and debug analog IC (Integrated Circuit) products.
• Design evaluation boards, to deliver a fully testable solution to MPS’s clients.
• Write technical articles, datasheets, and application notes to support client and MPS’s sales team
• Provide application support for key customers and field application engineers

Qualifications

• Degree in related engineering field + 2-3 years of industry experience in electronics
• Solid understanding of power electronics circuits
• Experience with PCB design
• A good knowledge of EMC measures and tests will be a plus.
• Oral / written proficiency in English
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
