RESPONSIBILITIES

Our unit Digital Engineering shapes how we work and actively steers the digital transformation within BASF's Global Engineering. We analyze, optimize, and develop engineering processes and provide support for our colleagues to assure efficient usage in our large capital projects.

• You will work in an interdisciplinary team within BASF's Global Engineering and actively support our team in requirements engineering and roll-out of continuous development topics.
• You will analyze, optimize, and develop engineering and business processes and based on this ideate concepts how to digitalize such processes.
• In addition to this, you will work closely with domain experts and support them in activities such as provision of data, data analysis, creation of data models, development of business logics, and reporting (BI).
• You will play an active role in our digital strategy and shape the future of our digital transformation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• master's degree in computer science, engineering, or comparable discipline
• practical knowledge in programming in script languages such as Python and related IT techniques such as web APIs and databases
• interest in engineering processes, optimization of such, and determination and active collaboration in an interdisciplinary team setup
• ideally you have gained experience in project execution or process engineering in your professional career
