Your Responsibilities and Duties
- Mechatronic development of ultra-precise actuator and sensor systems such as closed-loop nanopositioners and laser interferometers in line with quality, cost and deadline targets
- Focus on the new and further development of our sensor products, especially the fiber-based laser interferometer IDS3010
- Deepening and expanding the fundamentals of the sensor technologies used
- Optimization of sensor products in various aspects such as mechanics, electronics and software
- Systematic development of requirements and verification in the laboratory environment
- Opportunity to take on product responsibility for the support of existing series products
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams in a highly dynamic environment to identify and solve complex problems in the field of sensor technology
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Very well completed Master's degree in physical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or a related field
- Experience and high interest in areas such as sensor technology, data processing, laser technology, optics, fiber optics and electronics
- Experience in handling laboratory equipment for experimental verification
- Very good knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python
- Ideally practical experience in the field of product development in an industrial environment
- Enjoy interdisciplinary teamwork in a highly dynamic environment
- Analytical and conceptual skills as well as an independent and meticulous way of working
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German or English
