Responsibilities

• Take part in the design and configuration of complex redundancy concepts for offshore wind farms
• Configure and commission SCADA servers according to the site specific requirements
• Perform FAT/SAT for offshore projects with demanding customers
• Be an enthusiastic member of a project team consisting of people with different skills and expertise, your focus area will be the SCADA server

Qualifications

• Experience as an automation engineer, in the wind industry is beneficial or energy industry in general (e.g. energy power plant distribution, solar panel, photovoltaic industry)
• Relevant education within Automation or Information Technology or similar
• Experience with communication protocols (preferred IEC101, IEC104, MODBUS, DNP, OPC)
• Industrial electricity and electronics knowledge
• Understanding of computer and industrial networks
• Experience in commissioning and maintenance of server operating systems is beneficial
• Great English skills, both verbal and written
• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a passport
