In the intelligent world of future, high-performance, low-latency and secure embedded devices and systems are precisely needed. With the trend towards hardware diversification, the embedded industry is calling for new system architectures and software paradigms to support efficient, low-cost and energy-efficient devices. The research center plans to strengthen embedded software and real-time system capabilities, and focus on system architecture and software innovation. Senior architect is needed to plan and direct the overall strategy, to increase influence within academia and industry, and to connect with the local and global research community.

Your mission

• Be responsible for the overall technical competitiveness of the embedded software and system:
• Analysis the technical evolution in the industry;
• Formulate the three-to five-year technical plan;
• Specify the key technology strategy and implement the plan
• Explore the next-generation embedded software and system architecture
• Lead a team to implement key technologies and algorithms
• Lead related technical development and cooperation
• Attract talents to join Huawei
• Build a good ecosystem in academia, the open-source community and related industry organizations

Your areas of expertise

• Master or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related disciplines
• Deep knowledge or broad experience related to Operating Systems, Embedded Software, Real-time System, HW/SW co-design, Performance Engineering or System Security
• Familiar with technology trends in embedded and real-time system
• Experienced with leading a research lab or a development team
• Knowledge of technology architecture, embedded engineering, real-time systems research, open source software and industry standards
• Fluent in written and spoken English
