Your responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical services to customers, leveraging extensive knowledge to differentiate from competitors.
  • Product Support: Address inquiries related to Product and Application Engineering in Eastern and Central Europe.
  • Project Documentation: Track project progress and complete follow-up activities.
  • Customer Guidance: Assist customers in Central and Eastern Europe in finding suitable technical solutions.
  • Sales Assistance: Support the sales team through targeted customer visits, lab tests, and training sessions.
  • Trial Management: Plan and document field trials and lab experiments to meet customer needs.
  • Technology Presentation: Showcase and promote new technologies and solutions to clients.
  • Service Request Management: Handle and document Technical Service Requests (TSRs) with thorough reporting.
  • Customer Training: Conduct training seminars and demonstrations for internal and external customers, including distributor training.
  • Product Development Input: Contribute to the New Product Development (NPD) process based on customer feedback.
  • Team Participation: Engage actively in Application Engineering staff meetings.

What you should bring:

  • Technical Degree: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering.
  • Rubber Technology: Qualification: Certification in Rubber Technologies is a plus.
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in adhesives, coatings, and application methods within general industry and/or automotive sectors.
  • Chemical Technology: Background in chemical technology, preferably in reactive adhesives, with optional experience in coatings or sealants.
  • Proactive and Self-Organized: Highly self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with high competency in customer interactions.
  • Confident Demeanor: Ability to present confidently and engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Motivated to collaborate and contribute positively within a team environment.
  • Presentation Skills: Capability to create and deliver impactful product presentations.
  • Willingness to Travel: Availability to travel approximately 40% of the time (e.g., customer visits, training at our German technical center, trade shows).
  • Language Proficiency: Business-level German and English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is an asset.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
