You face challenges like
- coordination with the relevant authorities for the necessary evidence and the execution, external assignment, and documentation of commissioned test series
- supporting the implementation of uniform processes as well as tracking and maintaining insights in the testing knowledge management system
- regular active participation in ‘Fire Working Groups’, necessary benchmark studies, and regular coordination to maintain required approvals and qualifications (e.g. audits)
- deriving and implementing test requirements from specifications as well as procuring test equipment and facilities
- continuous review and development of processes and methods for efficiency
- coordinating, conducting, and supervising qualification, material, and material testing according to aviation regulations
- developing and conducting pre-series tests
- developing, initiating, and implementing process optimizations through digitalization and automation
- managing all test facilities, taking on organizational tasks and support, as well as instruction on safety-related topics
You inspire us by
- a degree in aerospace engineering (at least Bachelor’s), composite materials/composites, or plastics engineering (at least Bachelor’s)
- at least one year of professional experience in material testing, especially in testing plastics
- initial practical experience with SAP and initial application knowledge in CATIA V5
- sound knowledge of general metrology, common testing procedures, and MS Office programs
- your strong communication skills, ensuring smooth information flow between departments
- your ability to integrate quickly and constructively into a team
- your high level of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent
- negotiable German language skills and advanced English language skills
