Ihre Aufgaben:
- Hardware design, development and integration of RF modules and wireless solutions (e.g. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G, UWB) for embedded systems.
- Complete development ownership from concept to mass production and lifecycle management.
- Circuit design for RF and mixed-signal boards, including antenna interfaces.
- Layout design and evaluation with consideration of EMC, RF, and signal integrity requirements.
- Execution of bring-up, verification, including functional, and RF measurements (e.g. spectrum analysis, VSWR, S-parameters, antenna performance).
- Product certifications and regulatory approvals (e.g. RED, FCC, CE, PTCRB).
- Selection and qualification of appropriate components, modules, and antenna concepts.
- Close collaboration with firmware, driver, and system integration teams.
- Further development of internal tools, test equipment, and infrastructure for validation and verification.
- Technical consulting for customers and adaptation of wireless hardware to specific application requirements.
- Preparation of technical documentation.
- Conducting internal trainings and knowledge sharing in the field of RF hardware design.
Ihr Profil:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or a related field.
- Profound knowledge and hands-on experience in the design and development of RF modules and embedded hardware, including work with commercial chipsets (e.g. NXP) and antenna systems.
- Proficiency in circuit design tools (e.g. Altium Designer, OrCAD, or equivalent).
- Strong background in EMC-compliant and RF-optimized PCB layout and antenna integration.
- Experience with RF measurement and test equipment (e.g. network analyzer, spectrum analyzer).
- Familiarity with industry standards and certification requirements (ETSI, FCC, CE, RED).
- Basic understanding of embedded firmware and hardware interfaces (e.g. SPI, I²C, PCIe, UART) is an advantage.
- Experience with DFM/DFT and structured development processes preferred.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style with high problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
