How You’ll Make an Impact
- Contribute to the development of future generations of high-voltage switchgear in an international project team.
- Model mechanical components/assemblies considering cost and functionality using the 3D CAD system PTC Creo, and verify mechanical properties through conventional calculation methods and FEM calculations.
- Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of development and type tests.
- Analyze test results and derive necessary design changes for the high-voltage switchgear product.
- Document work results in standard-compliant drawings.
- Support operational business with technical expertise as part of a cross-functional project team.
What You Bring
- Completed university degree in mechanical engineering (product development) or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in the design and construction of machines.
- Project experience in the field of electrical systems; experience in the development of high-voltage switchgear is advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge in the design and construction of mechanical components and assemblies, also using computer-aided simulation tools.
- Advanced knowledge in materials technology and mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in using 3D CAD systems; experience with PTC Creo or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, especially high-voltage technology, is desirable.
- Team spirit, result and customer orientation, creativity, and a self-responsible working style.
- Proficient in German and English.
