Development Engineer - Orbital Stage (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
- Be the system owner of various structures and/or fluidic systems on the upper stage of the launch vehicle.
- Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle from concept to hardware integration and post-flight analysis
- Define and maintain requirements with a strong focus on system-reliability
- Create CAD models of components and assemblies
- Collaborate with the testing team to qualify the systems
- Support the AIT team and resolve non-conformances
- Closely work with peers from Propulsion, Analysis and Testing
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Aerospace engineering
- 2+ years in the design/ development of lightweight structures or fluidic systems for spacecraft applications.
- Experience with thermal control hardware like multilayer insulation, heat pipes, heaters… is a plus.
- Good skills with CAD software (Siemens NX or other)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and addition to detail.
- Hands- on experience in a testing or operation environment
- Basic knowledge of launch vehicles and sub-systems
- Feel confident with medium and high-pressure pneumatic systems
- Business Level English
