Resonsibilities

• Innovation Program Manager is a member of a cross-functional project team. As a team member he/she is responsible for fulfillment of innovation project objectives: robust, verified and reliable product in required time, quality and costs.
• As an Innovation Project Manager within the Core Innovation Team Europe, you will work independently on innovation topics in the field of "optoelectronic lighting systems for applications in vehicle exteriors and interiors" and at the same time be a central contact for customers (OEMs) in Europe
• You will be responsible for and manage the following main topics: customer communication, technical business development, innovation strategies and technical development (lead of innovation projects); if necessary from the feasibility study to the support of the market launch
• A main occupation is the identification, evaluation (technical and business option) and introduction of new concepts or technologies / systems in order to strive for strategic product development for and with European customers
• To evaluate technical concepts, you will lead pre-development studies and projects in the field of innovation at Plastic Omnium Lighting with a strategic orientation in coordination with central departments and experts
• Overall, you are a main contact persons within innovation for internal and external customers; We work in an international environment and have creative freedom to implement our own ideas
• With constantly new challenges, you participate in our technological lead and help shape it
• Effectively communicates with internal and external partners, shares information.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the fields of business administration, industrial engineering, electrical engineering/electronics, physics optoelectronics, mechatronics or comparable
• Experience: Experience in business development with regular customer contact, strategy and business development in the automotive sector. In addition, project manager experience with appropriate methods and tool knowledge in interdisciplinary teams - ideal in the automotive development or innovation area
• Expert knowledge: of automotive exterior lighting systems by knowing main basis technologies and key aspects
• Personality: Strong communication skills and persuasive skills on a technical or business level, as well as a confident demeanor, structured and independent way of working and customer affinity. Affinity for business development
• Also: Willingness to travel in Germany and abroad, very good written and spoken German and English skills
